According to the latest report released by Luotu Technology, in November 2024,Sales in the online public retail market of notebook computers in mainland China were 1.3 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 12%, and sales were 8.3 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 4%.It is understood that the Double 11 promotion was launched significantly ahead of schedule in October, resulting in weak consumption momentum after November. This change also triggered a market phenomenon that has occurred in the laptop market for the first time in recent years: November is no longer the traditional highest sales month every year, but is surpassed and replaced by October.
In terms of major brands, the four major brands Lenovo, Asus, Mechanical Revolution and HP are firmly in the top four in both sales and sales rankings.Its total sales volume share was 67.3%, an increase of approximately 4 percentage points from the same period last year.
Luotu Technology said that although Lenovo sales fell 1% year-on-year, its performance was still solid against the backdrop of a 12% decline in overall market sales.Especially with the help of cutting-edge technologies such as AIPC and OLED, Lenovo achieved a significant growth of 9% in sales.
Lenovo predicts that more than 60% of personal computers will have AI functions in 2027, and Lenovo will be the first to release and launch AIPC products with "five major features".
The five major features are personal agents with embedded personal large models and natural interactions, embedded personal knowledge base, local heterogeneous AI computing power (CPU/GPU/NPU), open AI application ecosystem, and protection of personal privacy and data security.
Data from Luotu Technology shows that,In November 2024, the average online market price of notebook computers in China was 6,355 yuan, an increase of 526 yuan or 9% over the same period last year.
In terms of price segment structure, the market share of those priced above 8,000 yuan has shown significant growth.
Specifically, sales in the price range of 8,000-9,999 yuan increased by 39% year-on-year, and its market share reached 18.8%, an increase of 6.9 percentage points compared with the same period last year.
In addition, the high-end price range above 10,000 yuan also performed well, with its sales volume and market share achieving an increase of nearly 3 percentage points.
