Tim Cook revealed that he chose an iPhone 15 Pro Max for himself, but he said picking the color was "a difficult decision." Never underestimate the importance of iPhone color. After months of rumors and research on color cues for Apple event invitations, users now know their options, and some are still finding it difficult to pick.
This includes Apple CEO Tim Cook. Cook said in a very brief interview: "You know, I use the natural color [titanium color]." This color means that he must be using the iPhone 15 Pro series, and judging from the size of the iPhone 15 Pro in his hand, it should be the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max.
He continued: "I love it, but I tell you, it was a hard decision. Of course, it was a hard decision because the blue, the white and the black all caught my eye." Cook cleverly rattled off other colors during the interview, and he settled on natural titanium.
The iPhone 15 Pro model is the first iPhone to use a titanium body. The interior uses a redesigned aluminum alloy material, which is strong and durable, but the phone is said to be significantly lighter.
Cook probably had longer than most to choose his color. Pre-orders for the entire iPhone 15 series have started today, with the first shipments set to arrive to buyers on Friday, September 22, 2023.
