Well-known director Christopher Nolan told the Associated Press that he will not direct the "007" movie, after there have been many rumors that the new "007" movie will be directed by Nolan. In an interview with The Associated Press, Nolan also responded to Martin Scorsese's criticism of superhero movies. Martin Scorsese once said in an interview with GQ magazine that "the danger is the impact it has on our culture. Because there will be generations now who think that movies are just superhero movies, that's what movies are."
Nolan said: "Old films can ensure that audiences come back and give people more of what they want... This also provides funds for the production of many other films... But it also needs to always respect the audience's desire for new things... A healthy ecosystem in Hollywood is about striking a balance between these two aspects."
Nolan also said that he has no interest in making a movie about AI because "2001: A Space Odyssey" has already said everything about AI.
