According to official news released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, driven by the continued growth of high-speed users, the average access bandwidth per household reached 440.3Mbps/household, a year-on-year increase of 24.6%. As of the end of October, the total number of fixed Internet broadband access users of the three basic telecommunications companies reached 633 million, a net increase of 43.42 million from the end of the previous year.
The number of fixed Internet broadband access users with access speeds of 100Mbps and above reached 597 million, accounting for 94.3% of the total number of users, an increase of 0.4% from the end of the previous year.
The number of fixed Internet broadband access users with access speeds of 1,000Mbps and above reached 150 million, a net increase of 57.97 million from the end of the previous year, accounting for 23.7% of the total number of users.
It is worth mentioning that as of the end of October, the number of mobile Internet users reached 1.512 billion, a net increase of 58.53 million from the end of the previous year.
In October, the average mobile Internet access traffic (DOU) per household reached 17.81GB/household per month, a year-on-year increase of 10.5%, and 1.63GB/household per month higher than in December last year.
