Lee Shau-kee, founder of Henderson Land Group, passed away at the age of 97.Lee Shau Kee was born on February 20, 1928 in Daliang, Shunde, Guangdong. He is the founder of Henderson Land Development Co., Ltd., the honorary president of the Hong Kong Shunde Friendship Association, the honorary president of the World Shunde Friendship Association, and the former chairman and general manager of Henderson Land Group.

Li Zhaoji became the richest Chinese and the richest man in Asia for three consecutive years on the Forbes rich list in 1995, 1996 and 1997, and remained fourth on the global rich list for two consecutive years.

Public information shows that Lee Shau Kee was born in Shunde City, Guangdong Province. He came to Hong Kong as a teenager and started from scratch to found Henderson Real Estate Group. In Hong Kong's real estate industry, there were once known as the "Four Kings", namely Li Ka-shing of Cheung Kong Holdings, Cheng Yu-tung of New World Development, Kwok Desheng of Sun Hung Kai Properties and Lee Shau-kee of Henderson Land Development.
