Well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has previously mentioned that Apple plans to use self-developed Wi-Fi chips in this year’s iPhone 17 series to replace supplier Broadcom.

Public reports show that Apple prefers to use self-developed chips to reduce external procurement costs. Historically, Apple’s self-developed chips are not uncommon. The A series for mobile phone computing and the M series for computer product computing have been iterated for many years.
