According to a newly discovered job posting, Intel is exploring the use of GDDR7 video memory for Arc desktop graphics cards.Intel recently released a "Memory Tuning and Qualification" (memory tuning and certification) job recruitment notice, which mentioned support for "GDDR6/7".

If you look at it this way,Intel is very likely to use GDDR7 video memory on the next generation of "Celestial" independent graphics, which will significantly improve the bandwidth performance of the graphics card.

Currently, both AMD and Intel's latest generation graphics cards use GDDR6 video memory, while only NVIDIA's RTX 50 series uses faster GDDR7 video memory.

The 192-bit bit width of Arc B580 currently provides a bandwidth of 456 GB/s. Assuming that 28Gbps GDDR7 is used, the bandwidth can be increased to 672 GB/s, an increase of up to 47%.

For Intel, the Battlemage series of graphics cards is relatively successful, mainly due to its pricing and large memory strategy. If the next generation of Celestial can maintain this strategy, I believe the market share will further expand.

However, these are just speculations at present, and it is not clear when Intel will announce the specific specifications of the next generation graphics card.
