It is reported that,The solid-state battery being developed by Changan Automobile can have a weight energy density of 350-500 Wh/kg and a volume energy density of 750-1000 Wh/L. This battery is expected to be fully popularized by 2030..
In terms of new batteries, Changan Automobile is developing prototype cell designs for new batteries such as lithium-sulfur batteries and metal batteries. The energy density is expected to exceed 1,300-1,500 Wh/kg, and it strives to achieve on-board applications in 2035.
According to previous reports, on November 24, Times Changan Power Battery Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by Changan Automobile, CATL and Shenlan Automobile, rolled out 87 Ah standard battery products.
