The epic masterpiece "Odyssey" directed by Christopher Nolan suddenly opened pre-sales exactly one year before its release (July 17, 2025), and the first batch of 70mm IMAX screenings in North America were sold out within five minutes.

According to authoritative reports, "The Odyssey" will become the first film in film history to be shot entirely using IMAX film cameras. There are less than 30 theaters in North America that are qualified to screen the 70mm IMAX version. Currently, each theater is only open for four screenings on the first weekend (one per day). The AMC Theater in Lincoln Square in New York was sold out five minutes after the tickets went on sale, and other designated theaters also had very few tickets left.
