Global power battery installed capacity announced, CATL exclusively holds 1/3

Recently, overseas institutions announced the global installed capacity of power batteries from January to October this year.From January to October this year, global power battery installed capacity reached 552.2GWh, a year-on-year increase of 44%.It is reported that the top ten companies in terms of installed vehicle volume are: CATL, BYD, LG Energy, Panasonic, SKOn, China New Aviation, Samsung SDI, Guoxuan Hi-Tech, Yiwei Lithium Energy, and Xinwangda.

It is worth mentioning that among these,Chinese brands performed very well, especially CATL, which accounted for 1/3 of the global market at 36.9%.

In detail, from January to October this year, the overall installed capacity of CATL was 203.8GWh, a year-on-year increase of 51.1%, and the market share reached 36.9%.

Ranked second is BYD. From January to October this year, global power battery installed capacity was 87.5GWh, a year-on-year increase of 66.5%, and its market share reached 13.8%.

The agency stated that currently, the global penetration rate of power batteries has exceeded 15%. With the continuous popularity of electric vehicles, the installed volume of power batteries will also increase.
