The explanation stated that regarding the suspension of school salaries reported online, it was indeed because our school was involved in a loan guarantee dispute many years ago, which resulted in the postponement of faculty and staff salary payments in July. A large amount of debt information posted online is actually debts of other companies under the name of the organizer. After the school communicated and coordinated with the judicial authorities and relevant financial units in accordance with the law, all salary payment issues have been resolved, and the school's long-term operating funds have been effectively guaranteed. Preparations for the school's fall semester are underway in an orderly manner, and the school will reopen as scheduled in accordance with the teaching plan.

Previously, some netizens posted that "Dalian University of Science and Technology has stopped paying wages to all employees, and the school is facing a shutdown." A "Letter to All Faculty and Staff" signed by "Dalian University of Science and Technology Trade Union Committee" mentioned that without receiving any legal documents and notices, various relevant accounts of the school were frozen by the Dalian Intermediate People's Court, resulting in July wages not being paid as scheduled. The school union will provide temporary hardship subsidies and condolences subsidies to all faculty and staff.
