Microsoft's cloud gaming platform Xbox Cloud Gaming has become an important part of the Xbox platform. While still in beta, the technology has expanded to the Game Pass platform and its own games on nearly every device. However, the platform has previously been primarily only accessible through an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and that's finally set to change.

Today, Xbox Insiders announced that Xbox Game Pass Core and Standard subscribers can now play games through Xbox Cloud Gaming. This not only allows players to play the games within their subscription tier, but also any supported games they already own.

Those who want to get early access to Xbox Insider features before they are officially available can enable previews in the Account section of the Settings page at xbox.com/play or in the Xbox app on your TV. Afterwards, all devices that support Xbox cloud gaming will be available directly from the home screen.

“We’re always exploring more ways to put your Xbox experience at the center of you—your content, benefits, and playstyles,” Microsoft said in today’s announcement. “That’s why we’re making it easier to enjoy the games you love no matter where you are, on any device.”

This isn't the only expansion for Xbox Insiders today. Microsoft also announced that Game Pass Core and Standard subscribers can now play select PC games without the need for a dedicated PC Game Pass subscription.

Standard and Core members can download the Xbox PC app on their Windows PC or handheld, then go to the Game Pass tab to see what games are available. "Whether you're playing on console, PC, or streaming from a supported cloud device, this update will expand your game library and make it easier to play your favorite games on more screens," the company added.
