On August 28, the smart cleaning company Chaimu Technology officially announced that it would build a car, which the official said was "building the fastest car in the world." According to an official internal letter, Zhuimi had plans to build a car as early as 2013, and today the official announcement is that the "time and opportunity" has arrived. It also emphasized that it will rely on China's existing mature electric vehicle supply chain system for R&D and manufacturing to position itself in the global high-end market.
Zhuimi said that it currently ranks first in the market share of cleaning products in more than 20 countries and regions, and has experience in high-end brand operations and globalization. The car-making this time does not start from scratch, but by integrating the supply chain and existing technical resources to promote product implementation with a "global optimization" strategy. However, the company did not disclose specific models and mass production schedule.
According to China Business News, Zhumi Technology’s first ultra-luxury pure electric product will compete with the Bugatti Veyron and is planned to debut in 2027. Zhuimi Company stated that it will continue to invest in the automotive field for the long term. It has already established a car manufacturing team of nearly a thousand people and is continuing to expand.
