The U.S. Department of Commerce has added 16 Chinese companies to the Entity List, including a number of electronic component distributors, continuing to block China's semiconductor-related technologies and companies.On October 8, local time, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) issued an announcement adding 26 entities and 3 addresses to the Entity List. These include 16 mainland Chinese companies and three Hong Kong, China addresses.
The 16 companies range from the mainland China and Hong Kong subsidiaries of Arrow, a large global electronic components distributor, to a range of small and medium-sized technology and trading companies.
