According to an official notification issued by the customs,Recently, Gate Customs, a subsidiary of Gongbei Customs, seized a case of passengers hiding 118 central processing units (CPUs) entering the country at Gongbei Port.It is reported that at about 14:00 on December 6, a Macau tourist named Jiang entered the country through the "non-declaration channel" of the Customs of the Vehicle Passenger Inspection and Release Department of Gongbei Port. The on-site customs officers noticed that the passenger had an abnormal expression and evasive eyes, so he was intercepted and checked.

After further inspection, 12 bundles of CPUs wrapped in green plastic bags were seized from the soles of the passenger's feet, totaling 118 CPUs.

Due to the lack of clarity in the picture, the specific model cannot be clearly seen, but some CPUs seem to have been marked by grinding operations, and the top cover is completely blank.

At present, the case has been further processed according to regulations.

According to previous official introductions, there are many ways to deal with items confiscated by customs, but the most important way is to conduct public auctions.

The customs entrusts the auction house to hold auctions from time to time according to the processing progress, and publicly handles the confiscated items, and all auction proceeds are turned over to the national treasury.

For example, many previously seized graphics cards and other products will eventually flow to the market through auctions. The prices are relatively lower than normal products, but there is basically no after-sales guarantee.
