this afternoon,Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 is officially released.It is reported that,Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 integrates the Snapdragon X80 modem,Using 6-way receiving antenna,It can improve connectivity by up to 20% in weak network environments; supports 6 downlink carrier aggregation; and has NB-NTN satellite communication capabilities.

Moreover, the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 is equipped with Qualcomm FastConnect 7900 mobile connection system, supports UWB, and adopts a redesigned radio frequency architecture, which can reduce system power consumption by up to 40% and bring more accurate short-range sensing capabilities.

In terms of performance, the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 is built on TSMC's 3nm process. It is equipped with a customized Oryon CPU with a maximum frequency of up to 3.8GHz and an integrated Qualcomm Adreno GPU. It uses an innovative slicing architecture to support higher clock speeds and improve game and graphics processing performance by 11%.
