A few days ago, the "Big Aircraft" official account of Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China announced thatC909 has carried more than 30 million passengers.COMAC stated that since its maiden commercial flight on June 28, 2016, the C909 aircraft has safely transported more than 30 million passengers, marking the beginning of a new journey of large-scale operation of the C909 aircraft.
It is understood that the C909 aircraft was renamed from the previous ARJ21.It is the first new turbofan regional aircraft with independent intellectual property rights independently developed by my country in accordance with international standards.
C909 has a seating capacity of 78-97 seats, a range of 2,225-3,700 kilometers, and a maximum take-off weight of 43,500 kilograms. It has the characteristics of adaptability, comfort, economy, commonality, and serialization.
Up to now, COMAC has delivered more than 170 C909 aircraft to more than ten domestic and foreign customers, opened nearly 800 routes, and served 178 cities.
In July this year,Air China C909 began flying on the Hohhot-Ulaanbaatar-Hohhot route, marking its first international commercial flight.
