According to media reports, well-known technology reporter Gurman revealed that Apple CEO Cook’s hands “tremble from time to time,” but the cause of the tremors has not yet been clearly explained. According to reports, this phenomenon has been increasingly discussed within Apple in the past few months. People familiar with the matter said that both executives and rank-and-file employees noticed Cook's hand tremors during meetings or large company events.
However, people close to Cook say he is in good health.
As Cook is about to turn 65, attention has also increased on Apple's next CEO. John Ternus, Apple's senior vice president of hardware engineering, is regarded as the most likely successor.
Ternus has worked at Apple for many years and has led the research and development of the entire iPad range, the latest iPhone models and AirPods. He is also one of the most critical leaders in the process of Mac switching from Intel to self-developed chips.
Previously, Cook said in an interview that one of his responsibilities is to cultivate multiple internal candidates with the ability to take over, and admitted that he "really hopes that the next CEO will come from within Apple."
