For passenger cars,my country's annual passenger car production and sales reached 30.27 million units and 30.103 million units respectively, a year-on-year increase of 10.2% and 9.2% respectively, both exceeding the 30 million mark.

Looking at it by country,Chinese brand passenger cars sold a total of 20.936 million units last year, a year-on-year increase of 16.5%, with a market share of 69.5%, 4.3 percentage points higher than the same period last year.

This means that for every 10 passenger cars sold in China, 7 are Chinese independent brands.

For comparison, the market share of joint venture and foreign-owned brands is 31.5%. Among them, German cars have the highest share at 12.1%, Japanese cars 9.7%, American cars 5.9%, and Korean cars 1.5%.

However, unlike the rapid growth in sales of domestic brands, the sales of joint venture brands in the Chinese market have been declining year after year in recent years, especially the decline of Japanese cars.

China’s annual car sales reached 34.4 million units! Domestic cars account for 70%, while joint venture brands have declined year after year
