When such a question was asked to AI, many AIs "overturned", including ChatGPT, Qianwen, DeepSeek, Gemini 3, etc.
After raising the "car wash question", ChatGPT replied "walk over" on the grounds that "don't complicate simple things", while Qianwen said "since the car wash is only 50 meters away from your home, it is strongly recommended that you walk there" on the grounds that the distance is short, resources are saved, and walking does not require finding a parking space.
Faced with the same problem, DeepSeek gave two answers. The reason for recommending walking is to "save resources, avoid queuing, walk environmentally friendly, and avoid the trouble of moving the car", while the reason for recommending driving is "you can use the car directly after washing the car, and it is more convenient to queue up and have people in the car."
The answers given by Google's Gemini 3 large model also include two situations. On the one hand, Gemini 3 recommends driving there because "this is the car that needs to be washed." On the other hand, Gemini 3 recommends walking over because "it is just to make an appointment or consultation" or "it is inconvenient to move the car in the garage."
