The latest hardware survey data released by the Steam platform for February 2026 shows that the graphics card market is experiencing violent shocks. The GeForce RTX 4060, which has long occupied the top spot, gave way for the first time and was replaced by NVIDIA's new generation main force - the GeForce RTX 5070.

Data shows that the market share of RTX 5070 soared from 2.87% in January to 9.42% in February, with a single-month growth rate of 228%, setting the most dramatic share change in the history of Steam hardware surveys. It is worth noting that this growth is not due to the decline of RTX 4060, but the explosive popularity of RTX 5070 itself.

Following closely behind is the GeForce RTX 5060, an entry-level Blackwell architecture model equipped with 8GB of video memory. It is currently NVIDIA's priority product due to a shortage of video memory. Its market share surged by nearly 168% month-on-month to 6.72%, firmly ranking second.
Other RTX 50 series graphics cards also performed well. Although the price of RTX 5060 Ti has increased significantly, the specific growth of the 8GB and 16GB versions is unclear; the share of RTX 5080 also increased from 1.25% to 1.66%. It is worth mentioning that the AMD RX 9000 series, which was just unveiled before, unexpectedly disappeared from this month’s list.

Another notable change comes in the form of system memory configuration. Data shows that 32GB memory has become the most mainstream memory capacity among Steam players for the first time, accounting for 56.93%, a month-on-month increase of 18.91%. At the same time, the share of 16GB memory, which has long been dominant, fell from nearly 40% to 27.47%.
