Recently, the official WeChat public account of the School of History and Culture of Central China Normal University, "Chinese Normal University", was accused of posting a post that quoted "The Book of Songs" as a "homophonic curse", triggering heated discussions among netizens. On the morning of September 19, the School of History and Culture of Central China Normal University issued a "Situation Statement."

The article states,Recently, due to lax control on the official account of "Chinese Normal University," a tweet caused adverse effects. "We deeply apologize." The college has conducted an in-depth review, criticized and educated relevant personnel, and carried out in-depth rectification of problems. The college will draw inferences from one example to further strengthen student education guidance and strengthen public account management.

At present, the swearing article has been deleted. Judging from the screenshots saved by netizens, the article mistakenly quoted a self-composed and homophonic curse poem circulating in the market as a quote from the Book of Songs.

Some netizens joked that the sentence structure of this "poem" is quite similar to the "Book of Songs", but in fact the meaning is not clear, and the entire poem uses homophones to curse people.
