Recently, some netizens reported that China Telecom’s eSIM Watch No. 1 dual-terminal service has resumed processing. In July this year, the China Telecom App issued an announcement saying: Starting from July 12, 2023, due to business maintenance upgrades, the App will suspend the processing of eSIM Watch No. 1 dual-terminal and independent eSIM business, and the resumption time will be notified later.
It is understood thatFor Android watches, you can select the watch brand and model on the "eSIM Processing" page of the China Telecom App; for Apple Watch, you need to activate it on the watch side.
In terms of tariffs,The service fee for China Telecom's No. 1 dual-terminal service is 10 yuan/month. The traffic and voice of users of the primary and secondary card packages share the traffic and voice in the primary package; users of non-primary and secondary card packages can enjoy 500MB of domestic traffic and 60 minutes of domestic voice on their own.
The one-number dual-terminal service means that users can add a watch as an eSIM accessory device (secondary card) under the account and package of their mobile phone number (main number), so that the mobile phone and watch share one number, share the number, package calls and data, and can make calls and surf the Internet respectively.
If you don’t have your mobile phone with you, you can make calls through a smart watch with eSIM service enabled, and you don’t have to worry about missing important calls.
