On April 21, a blogger posted on a social media platform that Dark Side of the Moon leaked user privacy. He said that when he was using Kimi, he pasted the wrong picture with his swipe. Kimi first output a piece of irrelevant engineering text, and then directly returned a resume containing real information such as name, phone number, email address, etc. It was suspected that the resume uploaded by other users was sent by the system in error.

Subsequently, the blogger got in touch with Kimi’s operator, Dark Side of the Moon, who explained that the AI was hallucinating and hoped that the blogger would delete the note.

However, the blogger got in touch with the person whose resume was leaked. After the two parties confirmed the timeline of the matter, they expressed that they could not accept the reason of Dark Side of the Moon and refused to delete the content. The official did not provide further explanation, but the person whose resume was leaked said that the record of his uploaded resume could no longer be saved.

Some netizens said: "I don't mind sending my resume to AI. After all, the user agreement states that it will be desensitized before training, but sending it to a stranger by mistake like this is too explosive."
The blogger said that the purpose of his post was to remind everyone that "there is a high probability that chat records with AI will be seen by others. This does exist, no matter what the reason."
As of now, Dark Side of the Moon has not officially released any further explanation on the incident.
