The matter spread quickly, and some self-media speculated that Yan Chenglong used "anal beads" to cheat during the competition and needed to drain and clean the "anal beads" in the bathtub.
"Anal beads" are a new type of cheating method that has emerged in the chess circle in the past two years. In short, chess players cheat by hiding smart anal beads in their anuses that can send and receive messages. On the afternoon of December 25, the Chinese Chess Association issued the "Report on the Investigation and Handling of the Misconduct of Registered Athlete Yan Moumou", making a formal response to the "bathtub door" incident.
