OpenAI co-founder and president Greg Brockman officially took over the company's product strategy coordination. This personnel adjustment is actually the implementation of established arrangements. Chief executive Feige Simo, who was previously responsible for the implementation of general artificial intelligence business, is on medical leave, and Brockman has temporarily taken charge of the company's product business. It is reported that Brockman revealed in an internal employee memo that he plans to integrate the chatbot ChatGPT with the code development tool Codex to create an integrated user experience.

He said: "We integrate product research and development resources, fully focus on the development direction of smart bodies, and strive to win both the consumer and enterprise markets."

OpenAI confirmed that Simo is still on medical leave and that the product adjustment plan was jointly discussed and finalized by Brockman. Officials also revealed that the company has already planned to integrate ChatGPT, Codex and application programming interfaces into a unified platform, and set up a dedicated core product team to coordinate operations.

At the end of last year, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman announced a "state of emergency adjustment" and required the company to refocus on the core product experience of ChatGPT. Since then, the company has suspended non-core projects such as the video generation model Sola and special research and development in the scientific field.
