Lenovo announced that it will serve as the official hardware sponsor and founding partner of the 2026 EWC in Paris, France, providing strong impetus to the world's largest esports event. The E-Sports Foundation (EF) has reached an in-depth cooperation with Lenovo. During the event, Lenovo will provide Legion series gaming desktops, e-Sports monitors, and various top-notch equipment required by participating players. It is reported that all participating e-sports athletes will use Lenovo Tower 7i and Tower 5i desktop computers for peak competition.

This E-Sports World Cup is scheduled to be held from July 6 to August 23 this year. By then, about 200 top teams and nearly 2,000 e-sports players will gather in Paris to compete fiercely for 24 popular games and 25 championships. The total prize pool of this event broke the historical record, reaching more than 75 million US dollars. Different from previous games, another major new aspect of this year’s competition is that players will not only use Savior desktop computers to compete, but will also be fully equipped with Savior series e-sports monitors.

This is not the first time Lenovo has been deeply involved in the eSports World Cup. In the 2025 event, Lenovo completed its EWC debut and deployed more than 2,000 Rescue devices at the competition site, broadcast room, creator activity area, and throughout the e-sports festival venue. That year, the Lenovo Savior brand logo was fully displayed in all 24 competition events, and the global broadcast of the event reached approximately 750 million viewers.

In addition to providing professional-grade competitive hardware, this top-level event partnership has further stimulated Lenovo's innovative research and development drive. At the 2026 CES show held earlier this year, Lenovo unveiled the "Legion Pro Rollable Concept". This futuristic gaming notebook is equipped with a 16-inch rollable PureSight OLED screen, which can be flexibly expanded to 21.5 inches or even a full 24-inch screen according to the actual space requirements of e-sports players for training on the go. For the audience who went to Paris to watch this e-sports World Cup, they will have the honor to experience this breakthrough concept device in person at the Lenovo Rescuer exclusive booth.
