NetEase Games announced that on the basis of the anti-addiction system, all products will add a "minor mode", which will provide users with one-click content blocking, "NetEase Parent Care Platform" management, anti-cyber bullying and other protective function options. At present, 34 of the first batch of pilot products have completed the deployment of "minor mode".

On January 1, the "Regulations on the Internet Protection of Minors" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations") will be officially implemented. It is known as the first specialized comprehensive legislation on the Internet protection of minors introduced in my country. It not only means the further improvement of my country's cyberspace legal system, but also marks the entry into a new stage of the Internet protection of minors.

With the formal implementation of the Regulations, practical concerns from all walks of life regarding minors’ online safety and Internet addiction prevention will receive legal responses, and social responsibility entities such as governments, enterprises, and families will also clarify their respective responsibilities and obligations.

Recently, NetEase Games announced that it will actively implement the requirements of the "Regulations" and will add a "minor mode" to all products on the basis of the anti-addiction system. Currently, 34 of the first batch of pilot products have completed the deployment of "minor mode".

It is understood that compared with the normal mode, this mode provides several important functional options such as one-click content blocking, "NetEase Parent Care Platform" management, and anti-cyberbullying, which can effectively ensure the safety of minors in playing and socializing.

NetEase's "Egg Boy Party" is the first pilot product. The game has previously launched a "minor mode" in the game. Since the trial run of this model, the number of accounts used has reached 1.21 million, and the number of uses has reached 5.37 million.

In the "Minor Mode" of NetEase games, the "NetEase Parent Care Platform" will also be integrated into the game product for the first time, allowing parents to quickly bind minors' accounts, remotely manage their children's game time and consumption, and can set one-click ban on play and one-click charge ban.
