The results show,After Apple held the sole title in the PC category for 20 consecutive years, this year's title was split equally between Samsung and Apple. The personal computer category includes desktops, laptops, and tablets.
Between July 2022 and June 2023, ACSI randomly interviewed 14,000 U.S. users. As far as the results are concerned,Apple's Mac and iPad satisfaction scores are 83, 3 points higher than the average satisfaction score of 80, and 1 point higher than the score in the past two years.
However, this year Apple is no longer the only champion;Samsung also tied for first place with Apple with a satisfaction score of 83. For the first time since 2003, Apple did not dominate.
Thanks to tablet product (GalaxyTab) satisfaction soared 6%,Samsung's overall satisfaction score increased by 2%, also reaching 83 points.
Dell and HP tied for second with 81 points, and Acer, Amazon, Asus and Lenovo tied for third with 78 points..
Among them, HP's satisfaction score increased the most year-on-year, increasing by 4% year-on-year.
Interestingly, Apple cited data from a third-party research firm it hired during its quarterly earnings call that customer satisfaction with Apple devices is as high as 98% or 99%. But in fact, this data is difficult to achieve.
