On January 12, Tesla China today brought the first wave of price cuts in 2024. The price of the refreshed version of the rear-drive Model 3 dropped to 245,900 yuan, a decrease of 15,500 yuan. The price of Tesla Model Y in China dropped to 258,900 yuan, a decrease of 7,500 yuan. In addition, the price of the updated version of Model 3 long-range battery has dropped to 299,900 yuan. Delivery time for both models is 2-6 weeks.
Tesla launched a refreshed version of Model 3 in September 2023. The rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions are priced at 259,900 yuan and 295,900 yuan respectively. On November 14, the price of the Model 3 rear-wheel drive version increased by 1,500 yuan to 261,400 yuan, and the price of the Model Y rear-wheel drive version increased by 2,500 yuan to 266,400 yuan.
On January 9, according to data from the Passenger Car Association, a total of 646,000 Model Y models were delivered domestically in 2023, becoming the best-selling model in the Chinese passenger car market. In the Nordic countries, including Norway, Sweden and Denmark, Model Y has also become the best-selling model in 2023.
