Apple has redesigned the middle frame structure of the iPhone 15 Pro to make it easier to replace the back glass. PBKreviews said that if you need to replace the back cover glass, all you need to do is heat the back plate, then pry open the back cover glass, disconnect the flexible cable from the back of the circuit board, and replace it with the new back glass.

From the repair prices on Apple’s official website, we can see that the back glass repair price of the Apple iPhone 15 Pro is 1,298 yuan, which is a decrease of about 64% from the 3,598 yuan of the previous generation iPhone 14 Pro.

In addition, after disassembly, PBKreviews confirmed that the battery capacity of the iPhone 15 Pro is 3274mAh, which is better than the 3200mA of the previous generation iPhone 14Pro, an increase of about 2.3%. According to Apple’s official battery life data, the battery life of the two is the same, and video playback can be up to 23 hours. Therefore, the actual experience of the increase in battery capacity is probably not strong.

In the video, PBKreviews concluded that the disassembly of the iPhone 15 Pro resulted in a repairability score of 7, with 10 being the easiest to repair.
