[Business income of the postal industry from January to August increased by 6.0% year-on-year] September 18th, data showed that from January to August, the business income of the postal industry (excluding direct operating income of Postal Savings Bank) totaled 1.23045 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.0%. Among them, express delivery business revenue has accumulated to 1.02892 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.4%. From January to August, the postal industry’s delivery business volume totaled 145.46 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 4.0%. Among them, the express delivery business volume has completed 134.06 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%. In August, the business revenue of the postal industry reached 150.54 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.3%. Among them, express delivery business revenue reached 127.15 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.9%. In August, the postal industry delivered 18.03 billion items, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%. Among them, the express delivery business volume completed 16.60 billion pieces, a year-on-year increase of 2.7%.
