[New progress in the development of domestic large aircraft: C929 is in the steady design stage] September 18th, so far, the domestic large aircraft C919 has operated safely for more than 150,000 hours, carried more than 8 million passengers, and navigated 26 cities. In the exhibition area of the 4th China Air Transport Association Aviation Conference, there are two C919 models that are new models under development. One is a shortened version, which can meet the needs of civil aviation transportation in plateau areas; the other is an extended version, with nearly 80 more seats than the delivered model.
