[JPMorgan Chase CEO Dimon: Recommends "light-touch" federal-level regulation of AI] September 18th, as Silicon Valley continues to debate the future of artificial intelligence development in the United States, on Wednesday Eastern Time, Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co., the largest commercial bank in the United States, expressed his opinion: he supports the implementation of "light-touch" federal-level regulation of the artificial intelligence industry in the United States and avoids local regulation. The reason is that different state regulations will increase the complexity of AI commercial implementation.
Jamie Dimon has not been keen on strengthening supervision, but in his latest public speech, he stated that the development of the artificial intelligence industry cannot be without supervision. He said: "If regulation is necessary, it should be introduced at the federal level and adopt a light regulatory model. The federal government will have its own considerations, and the same will be true for each state... I do think this will become a problem. If various matters are subject to different state laws, it will be almost difficult to carry out business activities."
