Recall number S2026M0115V: Starting from now, some imported Wrangler hybrid vehicles produced between September 5, 2023 and March 26, 2024 are recalled, a total of 979 vehicles; some imported new Grand Cherokee 4xe hybrid vehicles produced between July 19, 2023 and October 9, 2023 are recalled, a total of 1,178 vehicles. Some vehicles within the scope of this recall may be contaminated by sand particles during the engine casting process. The sand produced by casting can invade the internal parts of the engine and cause engine failure. In extreme cases, it may cause the vehicle to lose power while driving or cause a fire in the engine compartment, posing safety risks. Stellantis (Shanghai) Automobile Co., Ltd. will refresh the engine control module software for vehicles within the recall scope free of charge and perform engine running tests. If the vehicle is detected to have engine bearing failure, the engine assembly will be replaced free of charge to eliminate potential safety hazards.
