[International Atomic Energy Agency adds 11 new members to the Board of Governors] September 19th, the International Atomic Energy Agency announced on September 18, local time, that 11 newly elected countries will join the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors for a term of 2026 to 2028. The election was held on September 17 at the seventh plenary meeting of the 70th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Newly elected members of the Council include Angola, Brazil, Greece, Honduras, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Nigeria, Slovakia and Sweden.
