[Meta-linked data center junk bonds are issued at a premium due to strong demand] On September 19, the subscription demand for the first high-yield bond (junk bond) linked to Meta Platforms Inc. issued by U.S. data center operator CleanSpark Inc. exceeded four times the issuance size, and the attractive yield effectively attracted investors. According to people familiar with the matter, asset management companies have subscribed for about $10 billion in the debt issuance, which is worth nearly $2.28 billion. The five-year note is priced at 98.5 cents on the dollar and yields 8.25%.
