[Morgan Stanley once again restricted private credit redemptions, 11% of investors applied to withdraw] September 19th, Morgan Stanley once again restricted the redemption of its nearly US$7 billion private credit fund in the third quarter. The amount of redemption requested by investors exceeded twice the amount that the fund was willing to repurchase. North Haven Private Income Fund set a redemption limit of 5%, and investors applied to redeem 11.4% of their shares, essentially the same as the previous three months. A total of approximately US$479 million in repurchases were completed in the three quarters ending in September, with nearly two-thirds of the applications coming from the previous two rounds of restricted investors.
