[Hebei Port Group and Brazil's Vale signed the "Initiative to Jointly Establish the "Caofeidian-Tubarang Iron Ore Green Shipping Corridor"] September 20th. Recently, Cao Ziyu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hebei Port Group, and his delegation went to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to visit Juan, Global Supply Chain Director of Vale Brazil. The two sides held working discussions and proposed to jointly establish the "Caofeidian-Tubarang Iron Ore Green Shipping Corridor". According to the initiative, the two parties will cooperate with stakeholders in the value chain to establish a green shipping corridor (that is, a shipping route operated by low or zero greenhouse gas emission ships) between the Port of Caofeidian and the Port of Tubarao, and promote the realization of net-zero emissions from shipping between the two ports.
