[Iran deploys large-scale troops in border areas] September 20th, Iranian Army Army Commander Jahan Shahi said that in order to deal with potential threats, large-scale troops are still deployed along Iran’s northwest, west, southwest, east, northeast and southeast borders and coastal areas since the outbreak of the war. Various units of the Iranian Army, including special forces, rapid reaction forces, mechanized forces and artillery units, have been deployed in the country's border areas to maintain a high level of combat readiness.
