[Copper inventory at the Port of New Orleans in the United States is close to saturation and another 100,000 tons of copper are expected to arrive in the port from September to October] On September 20, according to people familiar with the matter, the Port of New Orleans, as an important metal entry gateway port in the United States and the main hub of the Comex copper warehouse under the Chicago Mercantile Exchange Group, is currently basically saturated. What’s even more troublesome is that it is said that a total of about 100,000 tons of African and South American copper will arrive at the port in September and October.
