The number has generally remained stable compared with 2026. It is understood that the list covers four key industries: power generation, steel, cement, and aluminum smelting, and includes units with annual greenhouse gas emissions reaching 26,000 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent, including 2,500 companies in the power generation industry, 229 companies in the steel industry, 917 companies in the cement industry, and 100 companies in the aluminum smelting industry. Key emission units must submit emission reports, participate in carbon emission rights trading and pay off carbon quotas in accordance with the law.
