[Five departments jointly take action: severely punish fraud by ecological and environmental technical service agencies] On September 21, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment recently joined the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ministry of Public Security, and the State Administration for Market Regulation to issue the "Notice on Continuing to Strengthen the Supervision of Ecological and Environmental Technical Service Agencies and In-depth Rectification of Fraud and Fraud" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), further cracking down on data falsification by technical service agencies such as ecological environment monitoring, strengthening normalized supervision, continuing to standardize market order, and assisting the construction of a beautiful China. The "Notice" emphasizes: we must adhere to a problem-oriented approach, give priority to technological prevention, strengthen technological empowerment and source control; adhere to precise governance, normalized rectification, and improve long-term supervision mechanisms; adhere to collaborative linkage and pooling efforts, strengthen cross-regional and cross-department collaboration; adhere to law-abiding guidance, balance leniency with severity, severely punish malicious violations, and strengthen law-abiding assistance and guidance for minor violators.
