[Coherent expands pluggable optical line system product portfolio] September 21st, Coherent recently announced the expansion of its pluggable optical line system (POLS) product portfolio, launching an optical line system in a compact QSFP package with full C-band high-power variable gain amplification capabilities. This enhanced version of POLS is developed for the new generation of 800G ZR/ZR+ digital coherent optical modules. A single optical fiber pair supports up to 32 DWDM wavelengths and can carry up to 25.6Tbps of AI data center business traffic on links from 2km to 200km. (Securities Times)
