[Qingdao: Strive to basically build a benchmark for green ports with "power as the core and cleanliness as the leading role" by 2028] On September 21, the Qingdao Municipal Government Information Office held a regular policy briefing to introduce the contents of the "Three-Year Action Plan for Green Transformation of Qingdao Port (2026-2028)". The plan proposes that by 2028, we will basically build the country's leading green port benchmark with "electricity as the core and cleanliness as the leading role", and the level of green and low-carbon development will rank among the forefront of coastal ports. By 2030, the port's green energy self-sufficiency will be steadily improved, and a new energy supply system will be built with green electricity as the support, hydrogen energy as the feature, and green fuel filling as the new business format. The carbon emission intensity will continue to decrease, and it will create a national port low-carbon development and energy transformation demonstration benchmark.
