[The BRICS New Development Bank released the "China Country Project Portfolio Evaluation Report"] Today, the BRICS New Development Bank released the "China Country Project Portfolio Evaluation Report." This country project portfolio evaluation was conducted by the Independent Evaluation Bureau of the New Development Bank and covers 27 projects approved between July 2015 and December 2024. The report comprehensively assesses that the overall effectiveness of the cooperation between the BRICS New Development Bank and China is "successful." Its loan portfolio in China is one of the bank's largest country business segments in the world. It has outstanding advantages in four major dimensions: RMB local currency financing, project implementation efficiency, sustainable technological innovation, and project compliance. It provides a replicable and promoteable practical model for multilateral development institutions to serve emerging economies and create high-impact, sustainable, and inclusive infrastructure projects.
