[Li Feifei joins the "AI slowdown" debate: calling for third-party supervision, saying that we cannot rely solely on corporate self-evaluation] September 23rd, Stanford University professor Li Feifei called on AI technology not to rely solely on corporate self-evaluation, but should accept further supervision by independent agencies and public departments. She believes that although in-house researchers at AI companies can evaluate the performance and safety features of individual models, this cannot replace universal standards developed by governments, industries, and academic institutions.
