[Gene editing technology breeds soybeans with over 90% oleic acid content] September 29th, scientists at Sejong University in South Korea used CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology to cultivate a high-quality soybean with an oleic acid content of up to 90.2%, better oxidation stability, and less saturated fat, which is expected to become a healthier and more stable source of edible oil. The relevant paper was published in the latest issue of "Journal of Plant Biotechnology".
