[EU official: The war in Iran has cost the EU hundreds of billions of euros more to import energy] On September 30, EU Energy Commissioner Dan Jorgensen said at a meeting of EU energy ministers in Dublin, the Irish capital, on the 29th that since the outbreak of the war in Iran at the end of February, the EU has spent an additional 100 billion euros on importing the same amount of fossil fuels.
