The Science and Technology Innovation 50 Index fell 30.7% in the third quarter.] On September 30, the major indexes collectively closed down this month, showing an overall shrinkage adjustment trend. On September 29, the transaction volume of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets hit a 14-month high. The ChiNext Index fell 27.8% in the third quarter, the Science and Technology Innovation 50 Index fell 30.7%, and the Mass Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship Index both recorded their largest declines in a single quarter. The ChiNext Index and the Shenzhen Component Index fell more than 8% on the month, and the Science and Technology Innovation 50 Index fell more than 9%. From a sector perspective, banking stocks bucked the trend and strengthened. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Bank of China, Bank of Nanjing, Bank of Jiangsu, Bank of Hangzhou, and Bank of Chengdu collectively hit record highs this month; CRO nearshore protein stock prices doubled. Yiqiao Shenzhou and Nanmo Biotech rose by more than 60%; PCB Aohong Electronics rose by more than 85%, Mankun Technology rose by more than 70%, and Jiuxingxing rose by more than 65%; Huangjiu Kuaijishan rose by more than 95%, and Guyue Longshan rose by nearly 50%. The nonferrous metal sector was among the top losers this month, with precious metals and lithium mines weakening. Shandong Gold, Xingye Silver Tin, Shengxin Lithium Energy, and Rongjie Shares fell by more than 20%.
